Too Much Flash?
Have you ever tried to take a picture through glass and get nothing but glare back at you? I have, and that drives me nuts! One day, when I was in high school, I discovered a trick that I have been using ever since. A plastic grocery bag.
Yep. A plain ole’ plastic grocery bag (white works best – because the tan causes a yellow tint). You take the plastic and fold it up about 5 times, and place the plastic over.in front of your flash. Then, when your flash goes off, you’ll still get brightness, but no light reflection back at ‘cha!
Play with how much plastic you use, depending on the amount of light around you. Another solution, which works just as well, is you can fold up wax paper. Anything that is opaque and white or clear in color will work.
Happy flashing!
