I have been asked recently, “Why do photography?”  I have a simple answer.  I love photography.  Plain and simple.

Photography has always been a hobby of mine and I finally took the plunge to share my skills with others.  After taking vacations to wonderful locations such as Australia, Hawaii, Alaska, the Bahamas, I have acquired my fair share of prints sitting in boxes and in albums.  Some of these images, I have matched to images I’d seen in science text books, postcards, brochures, calendars, and more.  I decided it was my turn.

I enjoy beautiful scenery, looking at inanimate objects from a different point of view, and working with people to preserve their memories and experiences at different events or together as families.

Behind the Lens is a peek into my world of photography.  I’ll share hints and tricks that I have discovered along the way.  I hope you enjoy!
